At least not lost

I was looking around
And found
Those who were found
Or at least not lost
Weren’t at the center of it all
They were slightly removed
What they might see as chaos
The Lost call Life
Bees swarming in a hive
Ants in an ant hill
Peace
Outweighed thrill
Brooklyn-bound
Hoboken-bound
Young adults
To just adults
When did peace and sleep
Become important
When did quiet
Become truly quiet
If we aren’t found
Are we lost?
Or just not yet found
Still searching
Questioning
Contemplating
Who is the one who is found
Has it together altogether
I don’t think they are here
As much as I love you, Manhattan
The Found run from you Dear
The still searching list:
The cracks in solid foundation
The disbelief in my mind
Why would you want me
There’s far better voices to find
The not lost list:
The comfort of a friend’s car
Ginger tea before bed
The Complete Works of Emily Dickinson
Singing Rent in my head
I’m not lost
I’m not found
I’m somewhere in-between
At least not lost
For the time being
Written on the passenger side of a car on Canal Street
