I hope one day

You see you

Like I see you

And you realize

Just how bright

You shine

In this Universe

Divine

Through space and time

This grand design

It is easy to get lost

But even if distanced by light years

To me

So close

And radiant you'll appear

Your halo

Is the sun

And beams light

Into dark corners

Of those

Who haven't experienced

Electricity

Until you

If you hold

Such a light

Within

Hiding

The world would be so dim

Life

Wouldn't be lived living

No wealth of gold compares

When you are gold itself

And cast rays upon the Earth

So we witness Beauty herself

It is easy to dismiss

One's own place

In this Universe divine

But my Dear

Do not underestimate

Just how bright you shine

I hope one day

You see you

The way I see you

For that day when you allow

Your light

To light

The darkest places within you

Will be the day

Shadows outcast

For them there is no room

I'll witness you

Shining

Even in the night

For you captured the dark

And nourished it with light

You're my Haloed Angel

The sun bows to you

And at your side I'll guard

To cast away external darkness

That attempts to encroach

Our Heaven within

My Dear

Keep fighting

There is no war you can't win
