In-Between

In this lovely in-between

Of birth and death

Past lives' faults

We try to correct

What have we here

Unseen unheard?

Or already unraveled

In our past world?

The comfort I feel

When you are with me

Is not of this world

'Tis higher than Earthly

It's of the Sky, the Stars, the Heaven-sent

The Moon, the Sun

Destiny-meant

How sweet it is to know

That the Universe conspires

In each life we are

To find each other

I pray in the next

May we be

Lives of hands, paws, or trees

Hands to hold

Paws to play

Branches to intertwine

For I couldn't bare

Yours not in mine

For now

I shall treasure

This current in-between

For once more I find myself

Falling for thee

This chaotic world

This lovely in-between

I am so grateful

For once again

The Universe

Brought you back to me
