Head in the grass

Looking at the sky

Watching clouds

Cumulus passersby

I wonder when you

Will see them

When they will stretch

To your view

Hands scrunch the grass

Inhale exhale

No desire for wings

Content on the ground

This tiny corner of the universe

I’ve found

Inhale

Green grass and cotton

Exhale

Surrendering to the Earth

Present

I close my eyes

Wanting for nothing

And am now open

For whatever this world will bring

Inhale

Lungs expand

What strong life forces they are

Exhale

Compress

Letting go of the no longer required

Giving life to the plants

And the grass I lay upon

The comforting life cycle

Continues on and on
