For even the sun has a shadow

What does good look like?

The thing we are told to do,

To be

Since we could “be”

Are we good because we haven’t faced bad?

Or good because we turned away from bad?

Do we need to be bad to turn good

To know what it is to not to be it

Reject it?

Are we still good if around bad

Associated with bad

Haunted by bad

For even the sun has a shadow

Once we are good

Do we stay good

Even if we do bad

Can we ever get back to good?

What is the point of no return

To be forever “bad”

Did they have the chance to know good? Feel good? Believe in good?

Are we born good?

Are we born bad?

Are we born anything?

Is this life

Learning what is bad

And what is good

How they mix in their dwelling

If bad didn’t exist

Would anything be good?

What does good look like?

When I look in the mirror

Do I see good?
